On this day, you will arrive in Manali, and soon after your arrival, head towards your lodging for staying overnight. Cradled in the
lofty ranges of the Himalayas, Manali is a spectacular hill station in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Located in the Kullu
Valley, this hill station is a charming melange of scenic beauty and tranquil surroundings.
Defined by zigzag paths amid the lofty peaks, this hill town gives trekkers ample opportunities to explore it in their own way. The behold-worthy sights all around the Bhrigu Lake trek are sure to leave you spellbound.
Freshen up in the morning and get ready as the first day of your Bhrigu Lake trekking will be spent by visiting the Rohtang Pass.
At an elevation of about 13051 feet, Rohtang is a high mountain pass through the Pir Panjal Range of Himalayas. Located at a distance of about 53 km from Manali, this pass is a popular spot in Manali with lakhs of visrs coming here every year. During winters, this pass gets covered under a thick blanket of snow; thus providing the perfect topography for snow scooter riding and skiing. After witnessing the charm of this snowy region, you will be dropped at 14 Mod, which is about 10662 feet above mean sea level. This place is your campsite and also the beginning point of your trekking. As the night sets in, return back to your camp for overnight stay.
Get up early in the morning and be ready with your bags to commence your journey on the Bhrigu Lake trek. On this day, you start from a
gradual ascent, which takes you to the treeline. As you reach the top of Ravalikoli, you are able to capture the wonderful views of the
entire valley of Manali. This viewpoint also presents the panoramic view of peaks like Makarbeh, Hanuman Tibba and Shikarbeh. As you
arrive in Ravalikoli, proceed towards your lodging and stay overnight.
Have your dinner at the hotel, before retiring to your room.
After a peaceful night stay at Ravalikoli, get freshened and pack your bags as you have to leave for Theli. Today, the trail begins
with an initial ascent followed by climbing over a short and steep path. This path, covered under a snowy blanket, leads you up to
Bhrigu Lake. Located at an altitude of around 13894 feet, this lake in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh is known for its
religious importance. Known as Pool of the Gods, it is an unmissable attraction on your Bhrigu Lake trekking.
On reaching here, you can de-stress yourself by soaking in the cool and crystal clear waters. After a pleasant stay at the bank of the waterbody, descend down to reach your camp at Theli. As the local customs at Bhrigu Lake do not allow for setting up of camps, Theli is chosen to set up the camps. On reaching Theli, move towards your camp and enjoy the overnight stay.
Freshen up in the morning and be ready with your bags as this is your last day of Bhrigu Lake trekking tour. This day, you start your trekking by descending from a steep path, which through the dense pine forests takes you to the village of Vashisht. The village is renowned for its hot water springs, which are believed to have healing powers. Sulphur present in the waters adds therapeutic value to these hot springs. Besides indulging in baths at these springs, you can also visit some of the nearby temples. After a sightseeing tour of this village, head back to Manali for culminating your exciting journey.
